oil No. 126 is applied generously with a roller or metal blade on the sanded
floor. The oil has to be completely absorbed by the wood. Any excess oil should
be rubbed in or removed after about 10 minutes at the latest. To this purpose,
use a lint-free cloth, a brush or, if you work with a polishing machine, the
white or beige pad. Then allow to dry for 24 hours.

application of PurSolid Hard wax No. 171
results in a thin protective layer that further enhances the wearing qualities,
fine appearance and feel of the wood surface.
Apply the wax in a very thin layer using a root-ball cloth or polishing machine. Polish with single-disc machine and polishing pad within one hour. After a further 24 hours of drying time you may cautiously begin to use the surfaces. However, avoid exposure to moisture and mechanical loads during the next 4-6 weeks until the coatings are completely hardened. |
