remove damaged old coats, rust and soiling by sanding or brushing. Do not use
rust converters. Auro Rust protection primer No. 234 is suitable for both
untreated and old metal surfaces from which the rust has been removed.
On interior surfaces, apply Rust protection primer No. 234 once, on exterior surfaces twice, with a brush or roll. Between coats let dry and sand slightly. For indoor surfaces, this can be followed by 1 – 2 coats of Gloss Paint No. 250 or Silk Gloss Paint No. 260. For outdoor surfaces, use only gloss paint, applying at least three coats. Do not apply paint too thick. Paint the edges first, then the flat surfaces. Artful colour changes and structural effects can be achieved by application with a spatula. |
